About 3 hrs trek to Kuldi Ghar the route falls very steeply till the bank of rock to level out. Keeping the west side of rives the undulating trail runs through thickets of bamboo’s at the bottom of the gorge, pastures of Tomo. The trail then continues to the very neck of the gorge at Panchen Barah next to a small trail and shrine. Further, we climb to Himalaya Hotel for camp.

From here, our journey to the marvellous view starts through forest of rhododendron, bamboo and oak intercepted by small streams. The final stretch follows the corridor-like hollow between the glacier and the mountain flank, ablation valley. The sensational 360-degree views of the near-vertical Annapurna I(8091) &III(7555), Machhapuchhare, Varhha Shikar (7647), Khansar Kang (7485) and several other peaks towering above us like a white blanket of snow and ice and you may see Himalayan Thar, Himalayan weasels or pika(mouse-hare),though there are very few birds.

From here, we trace downhill to a pleasant camp spot at Bamboo which shouldn’t be very difficult.

The undulating trail through Khuldighar, across Chhomrong Khola to Chhomrong village and descent towards Sulphur-mixed hot spring located at Jhinua Danda.
