Ghorepani PoonHill Trek is one of the most popular short treks in Nepal. This trekking is relatively easy trek (to all age bar) through beautiful himalaya on the way to trekking, Gurung villages, forest of rhododendron and see the variety of ethnic groups and its culture. In this trek, you can see the panoramic view of Annapurna himalayan range including Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, Annapurna I and Annapurna South from vintage viewpoint of PoonHill, which height 3210m from sea level. Outline Iterinary:

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu - Pokhara - Nayapul, Trek to Tikhedhunga (1488m) [ 3-4 hours trek ]
Day 2: Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani 3210m [ 4-5 hours trek ]
Day 3: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani, Sunrise at Poon Hill 3210m [ 4-5 hours trek ]
Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (2050m) [2-3 hours trek], Drive Pokhara [2½ hrs drive]
Day 5: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu 1400m [5-6 hours drive]

Outline Iterinary: 

Day 1: Drive to Pokhara (820m) from Kathmandu (1400m) [5-6 hrs drive]
Day 2: Drive to Nayapul (1,070M), trek to Tikhedhunga (1,540m)
Day 3: Trek to Ghorepani village (2,860m)
Day 4: Hike to Poon Hill (3,210m), trek to Tadapani (2,590m)
Day 5: Trek to Ghandruk village (1,940m), to Dhampus
Day 6: Trek to Nayapul (1,070 m), drive to Pokhara (820m)
Day 7: Drive back to Kathmandu (1400m)

Day 01 Drive from Kathmandu-Pokhara- Nayapul (5-6 hrs drive), trek to Tikhedunga(1480m) [1 hr trek] - Ulleri

On this day, early morning we will take a drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara. During drive, You can see scenic zigzag hilly roads with Trishuli river along. It take five to six hours to reach Pokhara. We take breakfast on the road. Pokhara is also known as capital city of tourism in Nepal. Pokhara is beautiful city located 200km west from Kathmandu. Tourist city having a lot of places of cultural heritage and natural sites such as lakes, caves, temples with beautiful Himalaya. Every year more than 400000 foreign tourists visit Pokhara alone.
After eating lunch then again we drive to Nyapul from Pokhara. It takes 1½ hrs to reach then we trek to Tikhedhunga.
Ascent on steep stone staircase and cross the many suspension bridges to reach the village of Ulleri. You can see the amazing landscape and magnificent view of Annapurna South and Hiunchuli.

Day 02 Trek from Tikhedhunga to Ghorepani (3210m) (4-5 hours Trek)

After morning breakfast, we headed toward Ghorepani before that we cross the stream (Bhurungdi Khola) through on a suspension bridge. During trekking, we cross the Magar Village name as "Ulleri". the trail through the cultivated fields, rhododendron and oak forests then reach to Nangethanti. We take short rest to eat lunch. then after we trek Ghorepani through forest. It will take 4-5 hrs trek.

Day 3: Trek from Ghorepani to Tadapani, Sunrise at Poon Hill 3210m [ 4-5 hours trek ]

Early in the morning before breakfast, we start our sunrise trek from Ghorepani. It take 45 min to 1 hour to reach Poonhill (3210m). Poonhill is a popular vintage viewpoint in Annapurna Himalayan ranges, you can see the stunning views of Dhaulagiri I 8167m, Tukuche Peak 6920m, Dhampus Peak 6012m, Nilgiri 7061m, Annapurna I 8091m, Annapurna South 7219m, Himchhuli 6441m, Fishtail 6997m, Annapurna II 7937m, Lamjung Himal 6920m, Manaslu 8163m and many more. Then, we back to guest house to eat our breakfast. After that, we continue our trek downhill through dense rhododendron filled forest toward Tadapani 2600m. During the walk, we will be passing different stops like Deurali and Banthanti. From Banthanti, we will be walking some ups and downs before climbing steep uphill to reach Tadapani. It takes 4 hours to reach tadapani. We stay at Tadapani in tea house lodge for the night.

Day 4: Trek from Tadapani to Ghandruk (1950m) [2-3 hours trek], Drive Pokhara [2½ hrs drive]

After morning breakfast, we head toward to Ghandruk before that We across descending easy trail After short break, again we go to Ghandruk. Ghandruk is originally ethnic Gurung village in this region. There is a handicraft center and Gurung Museum. You can visit this museum for know the culture heritage of Gurung peoples. From the Ghandruk, we can see good views of Annapurna South 7219m, Hiunchuli 6441m, Gangapurna 7455m, Annapurna III 7755m and Fish Tail 6997m. It takes 2-3 hours to reach Ghandruk. We take some rest in Ghandruk for lunch break.
Then after we head back to the Pokhara. It takes 2 and a half hours.

Day 5: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1400m) [5-6 hours drive]

After breakfast, We transfer to you at bus station and drive back to Kathmandu by tourist bus. It takes approximately five to six hours drive to reach Kathmandu. We drive along Prithvi Highway which offers scenic hilly zigzag roads through the banks of Trishuli river. We reach Kathmandu at around 3 pm.
