Imjatse (Island Peak 6189m) Trek & Climbing

For the classic Everest view, a unique trek into the high valleys of the Khumbu, first ascending Kala Pattar. For commanding views of the beautiful glistening ice flutings between AmaDablam and Kang Leyamu and the incredible Lhotse South Face, soaring 3200 metres in one stretch, hike up the ImaKhola to Chhukung

The ascent of ImjaTse (Island Peak) is within the abilities of fit and determined hill walkers as, aside from one steep and exposed 100m ice or snow climb, it is a non-technical, though demanding and snow climb.

In addition to this, for a truly terrific experience, there is the colorful Sherpa market town of Manche Bazar which is considered as the most crucial Buddhist center of the region.
