The Langtang GosainKunda Trek is marvelous place which introduces Nepal offering some of the most beautiful scenery in the whole country. Additionally, it is located just 19 miles north form Kathmandu close to the border of Tibet. The valley is dominated by highest peak in the area known as Langtang Lirung [7246m].
Except during monsoons [July & August] the Langtang GosainKunda Trek can be done any other time of the year.

Langtang GosainKunda Trek offers the shortest way to the base of snowy mountains from Kathmandu. The base camp of Langtang Himal starts from Syabru Besi 9 hrs drive form Kathmandu. The trail of upstream Bhote Kosi river via ethnic Tamang villages, lush green forests and the wide spread Kyangin valley surrounded by snowy peaks from all fours sides are the marvelous experience. Further, Kyangin at 3800 meter, where you get an opportunity to ascend Kyangjin Ri [4350m.], from where the 360 degree mountain views are truly panoramic. Finally, we retrace back down the balley and drive back after ascending from Kyangjin Ri.

Langtang GosainKunda Trek remains challenging to an altitude of 3800 meter at Kyangjin. Still it is considered strenuous since the route has gradual ascent along the river valley.

Langtang GosainKunda Trek trail leads to three of the holy mountain lakes – Gosainkunda, Saraswatikunda and Bhairabkunda. These lakes are sacred to the Hindus and during the full moon day in July, many Hindu pilgrims flock to Gosainkunda to take a purifying ritual bath. The breathtaking and panoramic views of Ganesh Himal, Manaslu, Himal Chuli, Langtang Lirung and a few Tibetan peaks remain within your view throughout the trek.
